Avon Village is an exciting mix of 65 retail and
service businesses in a historic New England Village
setting.
Some 20 buildings provide "homes" for up
to 65 businesses, from 150 to 4,200 square feet.
Each business is supported by an active Old Avon
Village Merchants Association that sponsors
annual events such as an Antique Show in April,
Arts & Craft Show in September, a booth
at Simsbury's Septmeberfest, and Avon' Avon
Day in September, and Santa Fest in December.
Every day, over 40,000 cars pass by Old Avon
Village on Route 44. Our job is to entice some
of those cars into the parking lot. There is
a lot to see here, and even more to stop for.
